The Institute for the Investigation of Communist Crimes and the Memory of the Romanian Exile provides researchers and all those interested with approximately 2,000 volumes, alongside Romanian and foreign magazines and publications. The volumes cover a wide variety of topics: history of ideas, theories and methods in history, universal history, Central and Eastern European history, Romanian history (modern and contemporary era), biographies, memoirs, journals, correspondence, as well as the archive of The Municipal Committee of PCR Braşov, the “Ghiţă Ionescu” archive and the Romanian press from exile.

The IICCMER library does not have a loan service. The books, magazines and documents from the IICCMER library can be accessed in the study hall only.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
